While servers rarely roller skate anymore, the famous made-to-order, all-beef burgers and thick malts are still menu favorites. Other signature items include Toaster sandwiches (made with thick Texas toast), extra-long chili and cheese hot dogs and hand-battered onion rings and tater tots. Desserts include chocolate, vanilla and strawberry shakes and fresh fruit slushes.
This (a long time ago) used to be one of my favorite places to eat but everything has changed as in the footlongs. The chili does not taste like it used to and the hamburgers are kind of dry now. There are a few good things still here to eat but overall it is over priced for what you get compared to some good old fashioned burger joints in shawnee.
