Yummy!!

The food is wonderful. They have family style tables and they are great for meeting neighbors.

The atmosphere, like the food is always fresh.

I just love this place.

First Off I gave the server at the counter a nice tip. I ordered a Steak Sandwich based on this teenage Recommendion a lime Lemonaide, and a Garden Salad. The food came way too soon, so I expected that the hostess had already prepared the Sandwich. The Bread was hard as a rock and the stake was hardly cooked. I tried to reach the manager but all he would say is sorry but all give you a 15%...

The food at Sol Food is addicting...Seriously. I've taken many friends from out of town there and they visit me way more often now because they have to have their Sol Food fix. My favorite dish to eat alone is the Jibaro sandwich with a side salad. They use tostones (mashed up and fried green plaintains) instead of bread and it's seriously scrumptious! When there are a couple of us I love getting the Tostones con queso and add avocado. The place is lively, fast, quaint, inexpensive, and seriously delicioso!

Restaurants

With its humble beginnings in the year 2003, Sol Food Puerto Rican Cuisine has come a long way in its endeavor to serve authentic Caribbean fare. Originally, the restaurant's dining area covered only a few hundred square feet, accommodating not more than six diners. Today, it remains a popular Caribbean spot, drawing gourmands with delicious Puerto Rican specialties. From the toothsome...

This is the second location of Sol Food, and it is absolutely impossible to miss it, as it is painted in tropical lime green. Delicious Puerto Rican food is served here, and it will also deliver until late in the evening to many areas of Marin. Salads are organic, and transfat-free rice bran oil is used.

The other Sol Food is primarily for take-out, and is located one block away, on the corner...
