Sofitel Chicago Water Tower Hotel Review

This Magnificent Mile property is a sophisticated, urban addition to the Sofitel hotel group. It was designed by French architect Jean-Paul Viguier, and its overall style is both hip and warm --- not always an easy balance to strike. Take, for example, the impressive lobby, which pairs a dramatic, geometric staircase with a cozy, living room-like sitting area. The 415 guest rooms and suites...

Café des Architectes Restaurant Review

The oh-so-architectural all-day café in the Sofitel Chicago Water Tower hotel reflects a more-is-more mentality with a cherry-red banquette curving along slanted full-length windows, chairs that look like they come from a Milanese showroom and massive toque lampshades hanging from the soaring ceiling. The menu from executive chef Greg Biggers includes such starters as the lovely --- though very...

Very lovely, luxurious hotel close to Michigan Avenue in Chicago, IL. The lobby is beautiful with fresh flower arrangements and comfortable seating. The staff is very helpful and professional. Our room was beautifully decorated and the beds comfortable. We had breakfast at the on site restaurant, and it was just wonderful.
