A little confusion. The owners rented it out to a Chicago restaurant to train their own cooking staff. The staff was serving the public with their recently trained recipes. I don't think that's fair to the public but...the restaurant is closed and on the market

First visit to area and happy to find this not closed. Wonderful Sunday brunch with great bloody Mary. Michigan blini and deviled eggs were great starters. Pork bellies and macaroni were to die for. Can't wait to come back.

Too bad; it was a nice place. It used to have good food and a nice interior. It was reasonably popular, but I guess not popular enough. Various people had varying opinions on food and service, and both appeared to vary, depending.

Soe's is now closed. Owner's decided to move on and sell the building. On an interesting note, the Sous Chef and butcher has opened his own restaurant in the building next door - "County Fare".

If only the food matched the beautiful decor

The setting was beautiful with a perfectly decorated and cozy interior, but unfortunately the food did not match the setting. My husband ordered butternut squash soup that did not taste in the least like squash. His entree was duck which was so flavorless and mediocre he couldn't even finish it. The romaine salad I ordered as a starter was served...
