Tips about this business (4)

It never snows in Miami, but this is as cool as it gets. The star attraction at this flexible 10,000 square feet of warehouse space is a 25x30 ice lounge. Guests are provided with freezer-strength coats, footwear, earmuffs and gloves before entering the chilly room that is kept at a nippy 8 degrees Fahrenheit. Once inside, bartenders pour cold drinks into glasses sculpted from ice. Back outside, party goers thaw out at room temperature among ice-sculpted artwork and illuminated acrylic tables.

Know Before You Go

The Allapattah neighborhood can be dodgy at times, but valet parking is provided so guests don't have to stray far from the entrance unless they want to.

Fun Fact

Forty tons of ice were hand-cut in creating the ice lounge in the fall of 2008.

The Extras

The ice bar stays, but the lighted tables, ice sculptures and giant projectors can be outsourced for off-site functions.
