I was Just doing some resturant Searches & I came Across The Sly Fox. Not Many, if any, restaurants remain in business for over 20 years. But apparantly the Sly Fox did. I was going there for lunch in the 80's when I worked in Queens. At that time the Food was terrific.. My Favorite At that time was ""Chicken Picante""..A spicy treat.

The food was not inspiring and wait service was just okay. The bar was crowded and very loud. Would not recommend for dinner

I love the Sly Fox, first stopped by when I was a St. John's Student more than 20 years ago. I stopped by last week. Place was the same. Varied crowd. Decent beer. not as busy as it used to be for a Saturday night and the old bar tenders were not there anymore. Notwithstanding it is a good place...

The food is always great and the staff is friendly. I wish they would try and expand the daily specials, its a little repetitive. Always worth stopping in for a bite.
