This is the most professional dental office I have had the pleasure of working with. Yes, I said it....Pleasure! I have always been extremely anxious when going to the dentist but Dr. Skigen made me feel extremely comfortable and I was able to get my treatments. The office had convenient hours. I would recommend her to anyone.

Recently, a Thursday night, I developed a horrible toothache. Friday morning I called Dr. Skigen's office only to find out they were closed on Friday. I called the number provided on the answering machine and Dr. Skigen herself answered. She was on her way to drop her child off at school and said she would call me right back. She did so, listened to my symptoms and felt I needed a root canal. OBOY!!!! She called my pharmacy with a prescription for an anti-biotic as well as a pain reliever. I have been to too many dentists in the last decade...and never left happy. The receptionist was rude or the hygenist nearly left me gum-less or the dentist was uninterested and bored.

Not so at Dr. Skigen's office! You would have thought the receptionist was a long-time friend. The hygenist was gentle and pleasant and talkative...without asking questions while her hands were in my mouth! She even gave my daughters toothbrushes and toothpaste at MY appointment. Dr. Skigen was gracious and encouraging rather than condescending. They even worked with me on my bill.
