Silverado’s media hype has put it on the suburban-restaurant map, but the food doesn’t always live up to expectations. The crowds do, however, so plan your visit accordingly. The menu draws are the Southwestern and Tex-Mex dishes that have a few interesting twists. I've never had a bad meal here. The service is outstanding and the food is always consistently good. It's a little noisy on weekends.

SIlverado is one of several restaurants run by the same concern in the Northern VA area and it is probably my least favorite. I have yet to find anything on the menu to really stand out. It isn't overly expensive but it isn't impressive either.

I came here with a group of neighbor guys that meets monthly for lunch. We take turns choosing and I used my turn this time to select Silverado.
We enjoyed a wide variety of foods on this occasion. I had lemonade for starters, one guy had a margarita and a couple of people had draft beers they enjoyed.
