Lots of public computers and a great collection are wonderful for this community, It's too bad the parking is a bit of a hassle and I'm not crazy about the floor plan but who can argue with free books, music, databases, downloadable resouces, etc.
This library, established in 1957, serves as a pillar of the Silver Spring Community. It offers job-related materials, computer services, youth and children's programming and, of course, books. It is accessible via many bus lines, including the free Vango bus, and just a 15-minute walk from the red line Silver Spring metro stop.
