My wife and I found Silver Springs to be terribly loud. We voiced our concerns to Sharon Kapur who was less that helpful. Each time we spoke to her she seemed genuine when she said that she would talk to the people who were consistently being loud and even went as far as telling us that she would issue them warnings for eviction if things did not change. Over the course of 7 months the noise continued with no resolve, so as a last resort we called the corporate office. They were very helpful and agreed to let us out of our 1 year lease if things did not get any better. Absolutely nothing changed so we moved out of our apartment. I have never been happier than I am to be out of Silver Springs. If you move here count on many sleepless nights and frustrating days. I would not wish for anyone else to go through this. I am not the kind of person who writes reviews, but as a person who reads many reviews, I wish that I would have read a review like this before wasting my time in a horrible living environment. Air conditioning is also very poor.
Want a view of a nasty green pond with a fake spring/sprinkler that may or may not work? Especially if the staff quotes you the wrong price & you move in & then they pull the bait & switch. Of course after you paid extra money to customize the apartment with your own money for paint, installing ceiling fans, new carpet, etc. all out of pocket costs they didn't pay for. This is the second property I have rented under the Toonen umbrella. The locations are all very, very convenient to major highways. They are well maintained and professionally managed. The Silver Spring and McCarthy Creek apartments are quiet and a great place to live. The management team is always helpful and professional. I could not have asked for more.
