Sierra Vista and Holly's Hill wineries are next to each other down at the end of short road. If you're visiting one, you should visit the other. I'd put both of these wineries on the 'must' list if you're doing an El Dorado County wine tour. The staff here is super friendly, great views, great wines and a really nice location. Enjoy!!

We just visited the winery and found it refreshing.The first thing we noticed were the views from the hilltop and the quaint outdoor seating which will be perfect in the warmer months.The inside was smaller than some wineries but was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful.My Southern California …

Another out of the way Sierra foothill winery.A bit of a drive to get there but worth it.The view of the Crystal Range especially when there is snow on the mountains is beautiful and the fall view when the grape vines have turned color is awesome also.The tasting room is small and simple and personal.The wines …

We are the second oldest vineyard and winery in El Dorado county, founded in 1973. We specialize in estate grown Rhone varietals; reds of Grenache, Syrah, Mouvedre, and whites of Viognier and Roussanne. We also have Zinfandel, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chardonnay. Come enjoy the beautiful view of the Sierra Nevada Crystal Range at our cool 2800 feet elevation. Come for a tasting and stay to relax at our picnic tables under the trees next to the vineyard.

Tastings: Visitors are welcome daily from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. There is no charge; 5-10 wines are usually offered for tasting. Reserves or library wines are occasionally open for tasting and there is a $5 charge for those.
Tours: Formal tours not offered, but during harvest the crushing facility is visible from the parking lot and informal tours are occasionally offered.
