My mother is having day surgery and we had the most pleasant experience with all of the staff - the receptionist was amazingly kind and informative, the anesthesiologist was very kind, thorough and even humorous, all of our nurses were exceptional. Had my hernia surgery here.
Easier than a dentist visit and the staff were amazing.
Wouldn't go anywhere else.

Worst hospital ever, wheelchair wouldn't fit through washroom door. No portable oxygen, had to use my own. Promised meds. for pain in head, never got it, poor care ao checked myself out. Wouldn't bring my dog there.

Advocate Sherman Hospital is the WORST when it comes to billing! A charge of $355 for a visit to get meds for a sinus infection back in February. I was at the place 20 minutes! This was with insurance, too. $245.70 just to use the facility...really? No testing was done. I disputed the charge and they looked into it saying my record showed I was there for almost 5 hours - which was obviously...
