I had never been to the Sheraton Chalet before, and even though the roads were under construction to get to the hotel, that isn't the hotels fault. Once I got there, I saw that there was a beer brewing convention of IPA's. It was their own private conference, but they were pretty relaxed. No one got wild at the hotel, and it was so quiet in the rooms when I went to sleep I turned on the fan on...

Room smelled like mildew.

Room smelled, bathroom wasn't as clean as I would have liked. Women at front desk was rude at check in...if your busy looking at some paper, fine, but you could acknowledge I was standing right in front of you.

Hotel check in begins at 3pm, we arrived at 4:15 to a lobby full of people who were waiting to get checked in. After standing in line for 10-15 minutes, I was told my room would not be ready for at least an hour. So rather than being able to head to the pool with my kids, we had to sit in the lobby for an hour with all of our luggage. Not impressed at all

Hotel was sold out, I was not granted the type of room that I booked, staff kept arguing "I got the room that I booked" even though they said earlier they "can't see the type of room I reserved since reservation was through a 3rd party"! Bottom line, staff was very insensitive to my needs.

We had high expectations. The first room smelled damp and construction equipment was parked outside the window. They moved us and the second room was much better. Although it didn't seem like much effort went into housekeeping the bathroom floor was pretty gross and my wife had to clean it.
