Decent coin op pool tables. Pretty good selection of beer to go and enjoy at the bar. Prices are pretty good... What you would expect in a college town. I would drop by again for a couple games if...

OK this place has really improved over the last 10 years. The smoking only allowed in the basement section has helped immensely. Selection of micros and imports is good, and I find it to be a friendly place to hang out for 1 or 2. However, I still only get bottled beer there. Not too many taps, and the cleanliness of the tap system is suspect.

Has great hours, interesting beer selection but Defintely will close a couple mins prior to legal closing so hussle. Enjoy.

Stopped by on a recent trip to State College. The staff was very friendly and helpful but that is about all I have to say that is positive about Sharkies.
The atmosphere is nothing special - kind of run down and the bar attached to the bottle shop is a bit of a hole. I could not find a single interesting bottle to buy. Very vanilla type selection that reminds me of a place that has just...
