When we experienced the shadow bar it was for my cousins' girl friend birthday. They had on the invites that there were no gym shoes allowed!!!! So we dressed all up , but when we got there feet hurting from hills and trying to dance all night other people were walking in with gym shoes and tims on . I don't think that was fair the rules should apply to everyone. Either it's a dress code or it...

I drove all the way from Indiana to have a ?good time? at the shadow bar
Instead I had a horrible experience. A very rude bouncer checked my purse I had a pair of flip flops in my purse I was told only 1 pair of shoes per person. (Really do we make up rules as we go along?) Why? His rude a** couldn?t give me a reason told me I have 2 options either throw them in the garbage or take them back...

The Shadow Bar is a good club I really like how they search people and make them check coats. That is good for our safety I love goin on Saturdays because I have alot of fun with my friends and they play very good music. Every time my friends and I have a birthday we go to the Shadow Bar b/c we don't want to try another club b/c we're afraid we will waist our money. THE BOUNCER ARE MEAN.

i went that same night - August 16th. Kid Capri and Ice Cube were there... and PHENOMENAL!! Kid's set seemed endless and i loved every second of it!

i got there around 10:40 PM prepared to pay the "$40 after 10:00" i had been informed of on the phone... was only charged $20.
everyone was extremely cool from checking my ID to looking through my purse to the $20 thing... it was a great...

I had won free tickets to get in this place for Saturday, August 16th, 2008, from a radio station. Ice Cube, and Kid Capri were supposed to be there. I had bought a new outfit, but had worn my gym shoes. It was, after all, a Hip-Hop show. I was told by the rudest bouncer ever that there were no gym shoes allowed.
