Great selection to sample... Nice country setting... I like fruit wines and there Peach is one of the best I've had. My wife is a dry wine person, and found several bottles to her liking as well. Was part of our central PA wine swing on a Saturday afternoon. Great stop!

I wasn't really sure what to expect. An absolutely gorgeous day helped make everything a little better. Spectacular views from the deck at the winery. We loved the wines, fantastic scenery, and very friendly staff. Left there with a case of wine and felt like we were leaving a friends home. We'll make another road trip back up this way soon.

Located two miles outside of Middleburg in the Susquehanna Valley, Shade Mountain Winery and Vineyards' 65 acres contains more than 40 different varieties of grapes, which include Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Pinot Noir, Syrah, Sangiovese, Pinot Grigio, Viognier, Riesling and Traminette. Housed in a renovated 19th-century converted barn, the winery can store up to 20,000 gallons of wine.
