Steps from the Dahlia Lounge, this Tom Douglas creation is about pie. Not like his infamous Coconut CreamSerious Pie is about seriously good pizza. The space is intimate, with just 50 seats, rustic exposed beam ceilings, and a wood-fired oven surrounded by natural stone visible through the open kitchen. Pizza crust is melt-in-your mouth perfect. Try the house made mozzarella, their exclusive...

A pizzeria with a bread baker's soul, Serious Pie serves up pies with blistered crusts, light textured but with just enough ...structure and bite. Our attentiveness to each pizza in the 600 degree stone-encased applewood burning oven preserves the character of house made charcuterie and artisan cheeses from around the world. See More

incredible pizza

I love pizza and Serious Pie has some of the best in Seattle, by far. I love their pies and suggest you try it out asap. They are a little spendy so try to hit a happy hour.

Enjoy!

Seriously yummy artisan pizzas are worth the wait here—and you will wait, at this teeny-tiny Belltown restaurant. Famed local restaurateur Tom Douglas recognized before many others that Seattle was missing a dynamite pizza spot and he delivered: chewy, buttery crusts anchor such toppings as fresh arugula, guanciale (cured pork jowl), and a soft egg; or Meyer lemon, chili, and buffalo...

Serious Pie Restaurant Review

Chef/restaurateur Tom Douglas does pizza unlike anyone else at Serious Pie. Diners pack tall wood tables in the dark, cozy space that fills with a subtle aroma from the wood-fired oven. Choose from sophisticated toppings --- sweet fennel sausage and roasted peppers, or Penn Cove clams with house-made pancetta --- to anoint the slightly burnt, blistered crusts; the lighter texture offers just...

Cramped and a little over-priced, but kinda worth it

I really enjoyed the mushroom pizza with truffle cheese, which did not have marinara sauce, but my boyfriend's saucy little sausage pizza (I'm not sure exactly which one), was a little soggy and sad. The pizzas are the perfect size to try a couple and split (or eat one by yourself if you're really hungry!), but at $18-$20 apiece you...

Great pie with a light crust. Good beers on tap. Nice atmosphere. Reasonable price for the quality of pizza. How could you ask for more?

Worth the wait

In town visiting friends. Went on a Saturday night around 630. The wait was 45 minutes but worth it. They offered to text us when our table was ready so we could go have a drink while waiting. How cool is that!?!? The pizza is amazing! Extra thin crust. Tuscan style. All but 2 pizzas have a pesto sauce instead...

not your typical pizza

Great tasting pizza, but not your standard toppings. Nice lively place to dine. Seating is strange as you may be seated at a table with other diners unless you party takes up a complete table.

Great pie; great folks

Try a variety of pies if you go with friends. Everything is too delicious not to try. The staff was very accomodating for our large group, and were exceedingly friendly. This is a place you should definitely include in your Seattle itinerary.
