DO NOT Friedman at Selmi-Friedman. I highly warn those who have been directed to this man for any kind of treatment. He was recommended to my family as a custody evaluator. While i thought my child's safety would be ensured with him, it was the exact opposite. After months of back and forth visits and $7500 later, despite all the evidence i had, he came back to say i was a parental alienator....

This counselor is disorganized, never prepared and always overwhelmed. She is abrasive and unprofessional. She yells at her clients and justifies her actions by saying "Sometimes thats what she needs to do". Yelling is not ok by anyone neither the counselor nor the client should yell, be rude or unprofessional. I am reporting her and hope others do as well.

Dr, Selmi as long as you follow her rules for the way the meeting is held has been fair and reasonable. She listens to both sides and takes into consideration the children and their needs. My complaints are that I have seen her 3 times and when I requested a report of the case, I was told that I would have to pay more and make another appointment. She interviewed two of my kids and could not...
