I came here for a battery replacement and was told that my alternator needed to be replaced also because it was wasn't working and was generating under 13V. Two different staff approached me with varying estimates ranging from $100-$200 to replace +plus labor to $300-$400 +labor. Recently, I went there for specific work to be done on my car such as oil change etc. I kept getting phone calls while I was waiting that they needed to do gasket replacement and that it needed a new oil pan because it had ""rotted out."" We took our car there to have brakes serviced. We already have the new back brakes by another shop. When we got to Sears, they printed out a HUGE itemized list of charges of work they said we need! Including changing ALL our brake pads.
