Scott's Seafood San Jose Restaurant Review

Scott's serves fresh seafood in big portions. Order oysters raw on the half shell, or opt for a cooked appetizer such as steamed Manila clams or fried calamari. Large prawns appear in a cocktail, in a huge mixed-seafood salad with scallops and bay shrimp, in a garlic sauté or grilled. A classic seafood restaurant that draws loyal locals for its famed clam chowder, fresh fish and dry-aged steaks.

The service was slow although the restaurant wasn't busy. The fish was excellent.

Had a fabulous dinner here, one of the Scott's Classics with Rombauer chardonnay. We were celebrating our anniversary. Staff members were very attentive, and even brought a surprise dessert of ice cream.

My sesame crusted entree was very nice but my husband's jambalaya was not good. The raw oysters were not great either.
