The Sconecutter Restaurant Review

When you don’t have time for anything slower than fast food, but feel guilty about blowing your diet, drive up to The Sconecutter. Sure, you can go big with the hot pastrami scone (Navajo frybread) and french fry combo, but why waste the calories when you can have a satisfying turkey avocado on a wheat pita? If you have a few fat grams to spare, Sconecutter’s fries are some of the best in Utah.

Where to start... The service was awful--none of the employees seemed happy, or were very helpful. The food is, to put it bluntly, some of the worst I've tasted. It is one of those meals where...

Interesting local fast food. The building may be a little scary. But the food was good! I ate lunch there the 3 days I was in town and got the Navajo Frybread Taco every day. Yum. Don't go there if you want a fancy sit down meal. But if you want to try something different than BK, McD, etc. this...

Everything scones - including a greasy taste

The food was decent here, but all the time I was eating I just had a greasy feel in my mouth. I don't know if we waited just a few minutes too long and the sandwiches we had were too cold or what the problem was. I had heard the food was good, and it was tasty, but the greasy...

Look, Sconecutter for me has always been a must stop... I use to live in SLC, and wish Sconecutter would franchise again (but outside of Utah). I love their scone sandwiches... nothing like them,...

The Wonder Bread of Scones

The food is pricey for what you eat. It's a fast food joint with good shakes and fair scones. The good news is you can get almost any sandwich sconed. I have been only a few times and prefer other fast food places, especially for the price. This is a chain with multiple locations throughout the Salt Lake valley.
