I ordered the wings, which were barely edible, the Buffalo shrimp that was a pathetic handful of dime size pieces of shrimp. My wife got the club wrap with a side salad that was at least a week old... wilted lettuce and mushy tomatoes. ....we have always heard good things about this place and wanted to give a local establishment...
Everything about Schooner's is outstanding! Food is good, people are friendly, and the ambiance is great!
We have been going to schooners over 25 years and the only noticeable Change is the faces of the waitresses. The onion rings are still the best ever. The pork tenderloin will still feed four Hungary people and the Italian sausage sandwhich is always worth the trip. Like most things in the Midwest, schooners is consistent and you can always...
First visit to Schooners in 25 years and not much has changed. The Pork Tenderloin sandwich is to die for...and make sure you split it with someone as it is HUGE. Cash only...but ATM is onsite.
This restaurant is a local neighborhood sports bar. Nothing fancy, but consistently good food and friendly service. Best wings in town and a pork tenderloin to die for. Great onion rings, too. If you walk out of here still hungry, it's your own fault. Man-sized portions, so have a hearty appetite when you walk in.
