He is a very good doctor but the wait time is ALWAYS extremely long.
I've been using him for 7 years and the problem has been consistent the entire time.
Dr Schmidt was fine, but his office was very unaccomodating in scheduling for a family with more than one child. They refused to look for a block appointment making it very difficult to schedule for a busy family. I was hoping to find a good eye doctor nearby and was disappointed with the entire experience.

Doctor Schmidt is a consummate professional, much in the fashion of an airline pilot that you expect to take you safely to your destination, especially when entrusting him to do eye surgery. His demeanor while friendly usually follows the guideline that doctors know best, a personality trait can reduce some patients willingness to discuss concerns.
