Schlotzsky's Restaurant Review

Schlotzsky's may sound like a New York joint, but the first link in this chain actually opened in 1971 in Austin, Texas. Their original sandwich on warm sourdough bread is still available, but today you can also choose from pizzas, salads, soups and a variety of other sandwiches such as the Texas Schlotzsky's on toasted jalapeño cheese bread or Angus Pastrami Reuben on toasted dark rye bread....

Freshly baked deli favorites draw casual diners to this gourmet sandwich shop.

In Short
Since 1971, familiar green, white and red marquees have greeted patrons looking for international-style deli sandwiches. Starting with ""The Original"" sandwich--piled with three...

Well it is time for one of my reviews. I have eaten at this Scholtzskys a few times. I have always had good service. The staff has always been friendly too. I love the food a lot too. I had a ham sandwich minus the tomatoes this afternoon with a coworker after a meeting. My sandwich was good. I had one …

A lot of people give me a hard time for liking Scholotzsky's but I just do! Their sourdough bread is my favorite and I always order the turkey original combo when I stop in. I highly recommend the pizza on their yummy sourdough crust, it is very unique and tasty. They are a little expensive but the portions are …

Had my first Schlotzsky's and boy, I'm coming back! The service was good and you do get a nice big sandwich for your money. I tried the Reuben on rye and another sandwich I forgot the name of. Both tasted great.

No frills on St. Patty's

Last choice on St. Patty's but filled the gap. Food was very bland and lacked the fine taste expected in a Ruben and could hardy find the cabbage. Small roll was indicative of downsizing this company has done to increase profits and downsize size of product... Overall experience not positive and probably pass on any future stops.
