Schlotzsky's may sound like a New York joint, but the first link in this chain actually opened in 1971 in Austin, Texas. Their original sandwich on warm sourdough bread is still available, but today you can also choose from pizzas, salads, soups and a variety of other sandwiches such as the Texas Schlotzsky's on toasted jalapeño cheese bread or Angus Pastrami Reuben on toasted dark rye bread....

I am so addicted to the sourdough bread!!! I always get the turkey bacon cheese and revel in it's unhealthy buttery-ness. I want to try so many other things but it's just SO tasty. The location...

Good food but don't go here if you don't want someone to steal your cell phone from you. Don't leave your phone on the back of the toilet or on the table you sit at. Whoever grabbed an iPhone there today committed a crime and they know it! Police have been notified so they will be found and apprehended and charged with theft!
