Schlotzsky's may sound like a New York joint, but the first link in this chain actually opened in 1971 in Austin, Texas. Their original sandwich on warm sourdough bread is still available, but today you can also choose from pizzas, salads, soups and a variety of other sandwiches such as the Texas Schlotzsky's on toasted jalapeño cheese bread or Angus Pastrami Reuben on toasted dark rye bread....

Great place for lunch because they're fast, have lunch specials, and decently priced! I always get the original with the jalepeno chips!! Honestly perfect pair!!

I wanted a sandwich for lunch and for two reasons, I chose Schlotzsky's over several over sandwich shops in the area.

I woke up one morning dreaming about cinnamon rolls - so I made the bf come with me to Schlotzsky's to get a Cinnabon! I was disappointed to see that they were under a lamp and looked kinda dry...

I enjoy coming to this location. It's always clean and the workers are friendly. Food is always fresh and comes out fast. The only downside is the parking is trash during peak times!
