Schlotzsky's may sound like a New York joint, but the first link in this chain actually opened in 1971 in Austin, Texas. Their original sandwich on warm sourdough bread is still available, but today you can also choose from pizzas, salads, soups and a variety of other sandwiches such as the Texas Schlotzsky's on toasted jalapeño cheese bread or Angus Pastrami Reuben on toasted dark rye bread....

good - but service is a bit sloppy. The place over all was clean, and seemed to run ok. One tip - parking is not the easiest here. Try the CinnaBons! :)
