Zagot's top rated! you have got to be kidding. This by far was one of the worst experiences I have had in a resturant in many years. 3 course or 5 course, selctions were wilted, inadequate and for the main course I had to wait until everyone else had finished before rec'ing my entree and then it was ill prepared and sent back. Gracious owner and good service. Looks plain from the outside, as it is in a strip mall. However, the food is excellent and imaginative.

How can one receive such praise and put such uninspired, tired, leftover food on our table. Yes leftover! Just one of the six courses was not reheated from a previous service; we did have a piece of pork cooked nicely. From the initial impression of where it is located (strip mall) and being the only patrons at an early reservation, we were pleasantly surprised with the excellent dinner and presentation. This was the experience of a lifetime. We were the only diners there one night and the chef cooked just for us! He uses nothing but the freshest ingredients. This is truly an outstanding restaurant. Very small, but very, very good!
