After being burned in the past by several AC companies, I was very hesitant to try anyone, that being said when I called Savage the owner actually answered the phone (how many companies can say that), he was very nice and helpful. They arrived right on time and diagnosed the problem in 10 minutes and fixed it in 20, $75 service charge was very reasonable. I now have a new AC company that will do all of my work from now on.
I have had the best service with Savage Air. Their customer service is extraordinary. They actually bent over backwards for me and my situation. I have used them for over 12 years.

Savage came to our house three separate times to fix the same problem. Each time, their answer was to add more freon, or as it turns out, mask the problem so they can sting you with additional service calls. The third visit came not even three weeks after the second service call. I informed the technician that the service call should be covered under their 30 day warranty, spelled out on each invoice. I was then transferred to the owner who immediately voided/negated his warranty and then spent the next two minutes throwing a temper tantrum on the phone about how "it wasn't his problem." The crowning jewel of the whole experience was the hang up at the end....from the owner. When all was said and done, my air conditioning unit is still not functioning properly, I am $800 in the hole, completely insulted, and absolutely disgusted with the whole interaction. BUYER BEWARE, this has easily been the worst case of customer service I have ever had the displeasure to be involved with.
We had an emergency when both of our units went out due to some incompetent duct cleaning company. My family and I were very fortunate to get an after hours appt the same day. Joey fixed 2 huge units in less than an hour and was very pleasant even though it was 98 degrees outside at that time and friday night and he had to have been exhausted from a full day of calls in intolerable heat. WE HAVE USED THESE FOLKS OVER 20 YEARS We have had no complaints with these people AT ALL! They show up when called and make it as soon as possible. The service men have been courteous and nice. In fact, employee turnover seems to be non-existent.
