Food on Maui is great. But, most restaurants offer the same flavors. This is an excellent Mexican food restaurant with delicious twists on standards. And, excellent deserts. The service was very Aloha, so you still know you are on the Island.

We used to love the rotisserie chicken at the old Cilantro restaurant so we thought that we'd give Sangrita Grill, Chef Paris's new restaurant a try. The restaurant is located in a strip mall close to the highway just north of Lahaina. Despite the noise, it is nicely decorated with several outdoor tables and a nice catina style bar inside....

Don't pass the chance

Was going in for a quick dinner, was happily surprised.
Do ask for the fried flour tortilla chips.
Order the grilled Spanish octopus. Tender and flavorful
I was fortunate that they offered a corn truffle sauce which
I thought was amazing. Tried bites of the prawn fajitas and the tacos. Marvelous.

This is a great place to find if you are looking for great different food at a reasonable price near the KaKannapali area. Go check out the menu. We had the fish fixed Vera Cruz style and it was plenty to split and VERY good. We will go back.
