7/13/17 Sign in window "closed until further notice." We have ate there in the past, and found the food to be good. We would write it a4 star restaurant, but hard to get for starters to a restaurant that is not open :-)

We were expecting to eat at this restaurant which is located across the street from our hotel. It is NOT open as of our visit May 25, 2017. Mears MI is about 5 miles away. Hart MI is about 10 mile away.

Very nice place in the middle of town with 6 total options near by and we ate at 3 of them. Only two were good and this was one of them. Pizza was the best. Fish fry not bad at all.

No need to say a ton about this place. If you've ever been to a mom & pop family style restaurant, then you know what to expect here.

Stick to the burgers

For some reason, I had a hankering for a hot turkey sandwich. It arrived lukewarm, but might have been hotter in the past. 3 small slices of turkey? The potatoes screamed "from a box" God only knows where the gravy came from, it was yellow...

This traditional family style restaurant serves delicious steaks, chops, broasted chicken, pizza, and local fish favorites daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. A breakfast buffet is available on the weekends from Memorial Day to Labor Day.
