The Sandcrab Tavern is best hidden restaurant in Escondido! You will find it in the industrial area off of the 78 freeway. So the best thing to order is a bucket of beer and a bucket of seafood that gets dumped on your paper-covered table. You are given a mallet so you can pound away at your shellfish.
