The coffee here is great and so is the food. It is a little on the pricey side, but very good. I will return.

Trip with 20 folks -- lunch at San Miguel was very, very good

Our group of retirees stopped for lunch after touring Hundred Oaks Castle. San Miguel seated us in a private room which allowed us to chat and not bother others. Each meal was prepared "on the spot" and each looked delicious.
I had the lobster bisque and it was very good. Others had salads, sandwiches, and other soups and specials. Service...

What a pleasant surprise! We recently traveled by US highway through Winchester on our way further north. Needing a break and a snack, a quick trip around the town square found us in front of the San Miguel Coffee Co. Inside this old bank building is a true gathering place. The interior has retained its historic charm, including the vaults!...

A merchant on the town square recommended San Miguel, so we crossed over to this corner coffee shop and eatery in a former bank building.
I never picked up the reason for the name, but large stained glass panels are hung in each of the large windows, suggesting a connection with a church. But that's just a guess.
