Eh - Great ingredients - poor preparation

In short - not worth the price. The atmosphere is on the brink of being nice and romantic, but the tables are too close together and I felt I was on display the whole time. The music was good. The food was mediocre. They had excellent ingredients that were poorly prepared and left me wishing I could go to the kitchen and do it myself. My steak was "blackened" - which to Sambuca apparently means burnt. It doesn't. The Ceviche was good, but far from authentic and overly sweet. The desert was the only really good part of the night. Even my drinks were watered down or under poured. My $14...
