This place swings! On Thursday nights the band is great! The Unforgiven plays classic rock and oldies. They take requests. These guys can play anything! The music starts at 9:30 and stops at 1:30 AM. The bar serves a wide selection of beers and mixed drinks.

Unfortunately Kudzu has this Bar categorized as a hair salon, but locals know The Saloun as a long standing favorite hang out for locals and tourists visiting Georgetown where they can enjoy a few beers and some live music seven nights a week. The Saloun is a well known bar in Georgetown for hanging out with friends and listening to live music seven nights a week. Come early (before 9PM) to avoid the cover charge. As the night gets later the room gets crowded and the crowd gets louder. Recently remodeled with new larger bathrooms the Saloun has a full bar and large selection of imported and domestic beers. No food service.

Fans of jazz and drinking surely know of Saloun, one of Georgetown's hottest spots and one of the District's surefire bets for quality live music. With a great selection of microbrews and an energetic but casual atmosphere, don't be surprised to find a crowd gathered. There's a modest cover charge, but it's reasonable for a fun evening out with friends and hoppin' tunes.

Saloun, a bar on the ever-popular M Street, boasts live music most nights of the week. With everything from jazz to blues, the bar is a great spot to see some local talent, though, due to its popularity with the local college crowd, the dance floor does get a little crowded.
