Jayne at Salon in the Park has done my hair for ages and she always does a fantastic job. I have gotten numerous compliments over the years about her haircuts. She listens and does what I ask. Christie is equally as good. This is a great spot to go for reasonably priced and great hair cuts, colors, etc. Note: Jesse is the previous owner and is not working here anymore.

When I see people I haven't seen for months, the first thing they say to me is to complement me on my hair. About a year ago, I took a picture of a haircut I'd always wanted but never got close to, and now I have it thanks to Janie.

Terible Hair Cut

Received a horrible hair cut from the owner - the next day when getting ready for work, I found a small section of hair that did not get trimmed and hung down at least 3/4 of an inch below the rest of my hair. When I went and tried to cancel my next appointment, the person answering the phone said she couldn't deal with the owners appointments and that I need to call and track him down at his new salon in Federal Way. Such bad service both from the owner and his employeess, I do not recommend this salon for any service.

Terrible customer service and technique

yeah, i used to go to salon in the park. they'd wash my hair and try to brush it from my scalp to the ends. i keep yelling at them to brush it from the ends to the top....they were just making the knots worse. then, the owner would FINALLY get to me after i've been sitting in the chair for 35min (he's that late getting to me for my appointment) and hardly spent any time trimming. he didnt even ask me how i wanted it trimmed! I like my hair in the back to be rounded, but he cut a solid straight line. IT WAS HORRID....and then he used a flat iron on my hair. the number one thing you might...
