I recently took a stained glass class at SAW. I had a blast! Great teacher great atmosphere. The grounds are expansive and it's fun to explore the sculpture park as well as hiking on the trail system they have developed. You can also just pop in for a tour and explore the gallery or watch the artists in residence work....

Interesting collection of different types of art

We visited during national sculpture day. There are 100+ acres with various forms of sculpture scattered throughout. We watched glass blowing as well as blacksmithing. Everyone was very knowledgable and friendly. Kid friendly as well. You need more that a couple of hours to see everything.

The grounds have a surprise everywhere you turn. The art work and sculptures are the best I have seen in all my travels.
Kipuka Theatre did a two week residency to workshop a new piece "The Disastrous Tale of Vera and Linus" which they will be taking back to NYC in September.

Fun place

Fun place to walk around and see the large works of outdoor art. There are also hiking trails. Especially fun to go during the fall festival when there are demonstrations of artists working (for example glass blowing), product vendors and food vendors.
