Have been going to Salad Express on Bay Area for at leat 15 years. Salad Bar is always fresh and well stocked. Soups are very good and breads and deserts are plentiful. For about $8.00, you can have all you can eat and leave well satisfied. Rest rooms are not the best, so can not give 5 stars. Kid friendly...

As you walk in you can see this place needs upgrades(as wee as an exterminator) Having said that I started with the soup. Good taste if you don't mind leftovers. Salad selection however was very good. Then after tasting it , it was luck warm at best. Dept. of health violations written all over.

A couple of years ago I would have given them a top notch rating. My first visit: Food was great. I dropped my knife and barely sat up straight in my seat before our waiter was there with a new set of silverware. I was blown away. Sadly I have never seen that waiter there since.

salad express is an excellent salad bar and for those that are vegans or vegetarians great with health conscience travelers and a variety of other foods for children as well.
