During the second half of 2007 and all of 2008, the service is really bad. I mainly go there for half price sushi. Which I noticed has gotten smaller portions. Now the restuarant is closed as of this posting.

Just to let you know, Sakura no longer has Karaoke. We have been partying here for 4 years, and had many, many wonderful experiences! Good food, exceptional service, and fun karaoke. Something did change drastically. Rude staff with out apology seems to definately be the norm now. We do NOT recommend this place anymore!!!

I have been a patron since the restaurant first opened and have been recommending it for years. It is unfortunate that I feel strongly enough to write this review...but I can no longer recommend it. When this place first opened, it was terrific. But now somehow the sushi has shrunk in both size and quality. And yes, the service is lousy which is why I hate having to pay the required gratuity. There are better places than Sakura for sushi.

I read a fantastic review on Sakura about 9 months ago and wanted to try this restaurant out. Right before I went I read a new review by the same person that said food was good, but service lacking. I figured they just hit them on a bad night and I would still give them a try. We were forewarned that sushi was backed up and could take 35-40 minutes.
