The open-air converted gas station off of Elgin has experienced major changes since hipster hangout Late Night Pie left the location. Now, flat-screen TVs hang on the exposed brick walls and regulars flock here on game nights for the cheap drinks, camaraderie and probably the cute waitresses, too. The outdoor picnic tables and two equally noisy rooms are comfortable enough places to order a Miller High Life and pork chops (or the famous fried Oreos) off the full food menu. Other draws include Big Ass Beer Night and the occasional beer-pong table.
Steak Night on Mondays, Taco Tuesdays, Wrap Wednesdays and 25 cent wings on Thursdays mean seriously discounted pub grub almost every night of the week.
A few cars can squeeze into the lot out front but others will have to forage for space in the Midtown jungle.
