Beware of Safebet Hidden Fence!

I had Michigan Safebet Hidden Fence install my invisible fence last year… What a mistake!! Unbeknownst to me, they never put a surge protector on the system. Instead, they only offered to sell me a $100 lightning insurance policy, which I declined. The installers seemed rushed and hurried and bothered. They also forgot to give me any warranty information and had to return after I pointed out that I was missing the included battery and rubber contacts for the prongs on the collar. Of course, when the system recently blew out during a storm, they would not take any responsibility for not installing a surge protector, which is pretty standard according to the manufacturer. Rather, someone named Randy started yelling at me on the phone and threatened to sue me if I posted a negative review.

I had no choice but to call someone else and hired Pet Containment Services from Brighton, Michigan to fix the system. I was more than satisfied with the owner Shane's expertise, honesty and hard working nature -- and reasonable prices. I also found out he puts a circuit breaker on almost every unit he installs for a nominal fee. I could even see that Safebet's wiring was thin and cheap as opposed to the wire Shane used which was much thicker for installation and durability. Whenever I tried to contact Shane, he would always answer his cell, unlike Safebet where you would always get a recording, and if you were lucky, a call back a day or two later. I only wish I had used Pet Containment Services from the beginning!!
