The food was mixed, from a great sea bass special to a poor steak salad (the salad wasn't good but the steak was very good). Ribs were in between. Caesar salad was unappetizing. Calamari was a bit odd but good -- dipping sauces were mediocre. Ambience was lovely. I guess go with the specials or the grill. All in all disappointing for what was intended to be a festive thank you. I won't go back....

We tried a variety of food options and found them to be average at best. The beet salad was particularly poor seemingly undercooked and sour (I usually greatly enjoy. beet salads). We chose the restaurant based on the online menu but found that most of the items we wanted were no longer available (such as the Cornish hen confit).

We were seated on comfy sofas in the lounge, beautiful wood fire burning. Good service and the happy hour menu offered a nice variety. One server and he was attentive.

The bar is the most attractive place to eat. A big fireplace is very nice in the winter. There is often live music. Sometimes it is too loud for conversation, sometimes not. Best to ask who is playing before sitting in the bar.
