I grew up loving Russ' drive in and all of their wonderful pies and baked goods. The name is the same, but they are no longer drive ins, and the pies, while good, are not what they once were.

For those in the Detroit area, this place is like Ram's Horn, perhaps a bit better. Now, I'm not judging that but my kids (9 and 4) both mentioned what I was thinking ... the decor and general clientele makes you feel like you are grandma's house ... with her bridge-club guests over.

Every year when we visit the Muskegon area we have to go to Russ' at least once. We have never been disappointed. This we had dinner after a day of visiting the Ludington area. We stopped on our way back into town. Everything was delicious down to the pie for dessert. The staff was very friendly and the food came...

The food is always homemade and delicious, I've never been disappointed. The salad bar is fantastic and offers a wide variety of toppings and soups. The down home atmosphere and friendly waitstaff makes this restaurant one of my families favorites and one that we always come back to.
