Rudy's

After working in a BBQ restaurant in high school, I was convinced I could never look at BBQ again. Rudy's slapped some sense in to me, and brought me back to the light. The sausage (regular and jalapeno) is TO. DIE. FOR. On a busy night, the line moves pretty slowly, but boy is it worth the wait! Do yourself a favor and check it out.

The chopped beef,brisket,sausage,turkey,potat salad,baked beans,cole slaw and rolls are all tasty and just right. I usually get all that to go for a large group.Only ate in their dining room once and didnt really care for it.Dont get me wrong the place is clean and nice decor.Staff are helpful and very friendly.

Great place to get BBQ! We walked in to Rudy's and a nice young man asked if we had ever been there before. We said no and then he explained the entire place and menu to us. Then he got us samples of the meat!!! Wow!!! Good job! He was also very good at upselling. We were super impressed with the moist brisket and turkey. My husband loved the unique smoky/spicy beans. Rudy's rocks!. Was on my way back from a business meeting in Ft. Worth and stopped off in Arlington to sample some Que at Rudy's Country Store. The atmosphere of Rudy's is BBQ deluxe. Its Good. Try the brisket and turkey. Skip the desert and sides. This location is, if I remember correctly, a restaurant and gas station. Kind of strange but a welcome change to the vernacular of a barbecue restaurant. Don't let the exterior deter you. Go in and try it!
