My Mother took her 1956 CF100 guitar in for service . It needed new tuners , and a new pick guard that was comming lose . I watched as she opened the case , as both our jaws dropped to the floor . Thier Luthier had ruined her guitar . They left the heat iron in the guitar (To loosen the pick guard) TOO Long , and melted it in to the finnish ! They also changed her ivory tuners and bridge pins...
