Very nice stay. Good food for breakfast and enjoyed visiting with the owners. Good location for shopping in Freeport and 10 minute drive to Bowdoin.
Lovely, quaint and historic inn off the beaten path but still close to shopping and other activities. Our innkeeper was helpful and cooked a mean breakfast. Rooms are very comfortable although the bathrooms are a bit small.
We couldn't find reasonable lodging in Portland OR Freeport and were happy to find this. We were pleasantly surprised! Hosts were very charming and very helpful giving directions and dinner choices. It was a great location, nice and quiet, beautifully decorated and very clean. Will stay there again!
The Inn is off the beaten path but not far from Freeport shopping so it's in a good location. The Inn itself is not fancy but it's clean and comfortable. The room we had (Durham) was large with a private bath. The only thing I would suggest is a larger TV as the set they have is very small and you need to sit in the chairs provided to watch it (you can't watch TV in bed). The breakfast included...
Beautiful inn, wonderful hosts and fantastic breakfast. Only drawback were the very steep stairs leading to the second floor.
