Might take a little bit of a hike from the parking lot to get to, but Deer Valley's Royal Street Cafe (formerly: McHenry's Grill) is exactly what you'd expect: Deer Valley-decor (wood on wood) with modern cafe-ish menu items (edamame, steak frites, tuna tartare) for the ski-in set. Open for lunch, dinner; sit-down service runs from 11:30 AM to 9PM.

Love it!

Possibly the world's best burger (according to me!). Bison burger, maple bacon, avocado etc. Everything else is good there too. You will roll out of there.....

Do book in the winter season though.

Deer Valley you should be ashamed. Your Beautiful patio was adorned with awful food today. World's worst Caesar. Hyper sweet Chinese chicken salad with no life to it.And what happened to the waiter asking if the food was okay when picked up nearly untouched meals?
