Help us make it rightWelcome to the Route 66 Malt Shop! You won't believe your eyes! Take a trip in time back to when service and taste were what you got without asking. This is the experience, look, and feel of the classic malt sundaeshops and diners from the banner days of the great Mother Road.
Nostalgia for the heyday of the roadside diner reigns supreme at this malt shop on old Route 66. The bright yellow interior is every inch kitsch, from the black-and-white checkerboard floor and chrome stools lining the soda fountain to the red-vinyl booths and the pièce de résistance: a neon jukebox. Can't say enough. Light lunches, such as Chicken Salad just like your mom made. Milk Shakes to knock your socks off. Hamburgers and yes some with Green Chile just like the 66 fries with con queso and green chiles. Chicken Fried Steak hand bread just like I used to get in Houston Texas, yum.
Service was bad and rude , food was disgusting !!!! Owner refused to take a sandwich with spoiled ingredients off the bill ,
