The food is phenomenal! If you are not eating hear, then you are missing some of the best food in Springfield.
You get the feel of the original restaurant built back in 1941 and in the grand times of Route 66.

We were greeted by the owner, as the waitress showed us to a booth. We were there for biscuits and gravy! Or, at least I was. Then I read they had okra..deep fried okra. I asked the waitress if I could order okra on the side. It was early morning...lol She asked the owner, who is also the cook..he said...
