We popped into RO's Outpost on a beautiful spring day last week and enjoyed it. We tried a sausage sandwich and chopped beef sandwich, along with a side of jalapeno laced blackeyed peas and the fried corn. The peas were really spicy, which we loved. The brisket tastes fine, but is dry and not so tender. The sides are good, especially the beans. We ate there because "It's All Good BBQ" was closed. I definitely think It's All Good BBQ is way better than either R.O.'s or Opies BBQ. In the Austin summers, it is too HOT to sit outside and eat lunch or dinner,...

Wonderful brisket, lean & flavorful. The sides are exemplary, hand breaded fried okra, jalapeño blackeyed peas, homemade potato salad, crisp & tangy coleslaw. Better BBQ places

Have stopped here a few times because it is close. Brisket was dry and just a few pieces for the price. Sausage was OK but tough skin.

R.O.s were forced to move to a food truck further west of its original restaurant location now occupied by It's All Good BBQ. I had reviewed RO's before and found them expensive and the meat dry. Not much has changed. My wife picked up 2 lunch plates and paid nearly $30 which I find to be expensive considering its from...
